I’m excited to announce my candidacy for York Township Supervisor in the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election, and I’m asking for your support. My commitment is simple: to listen to the needs and concerns of our community while bringing transparency, fiscal responsibility, and innovative solutions to our township.
Together, we can build a stronger, more efficient, and responsive government for all.
Tim's Story
Timothy (Tim) Murray is a dedicated community leader and small business owner who resides in Lombard with his family. He has a long history of service to his community, currently serving as President of the York Center Community Board, where he has been actively involved for over 7 years. Tim’s commitment to local engagement includes volunteering with the Boy Scouts, coaching youth sports teams, and participating in the neighborhood watch program.
A hospitality industry veteran, Tim holds a BA in Hospitality Management from Kendall College. His career includes key roles with prestigious organizations such as the National Restaurant Association, American Culinary Federation, Hyatt Regency, and Carsons. Tim is now a small business owner, offering consulting and innovative solutions to national restaurant chains and retailers.

Tim’s extensive experience in hospitality and management positions him uniquely to tackle the challenges of key programs like the senior meal program, the Township food pantry, and the potential expansion of the Meals on Wheels program. He is eager to bring his skills in operational efficiency and community service to York Township.

With a strong focus on transparency, fiscal responsibility, and creative problem-solving, Tim is committed to listening to the people of York Township and executing solutions that truly serve the community.
